A fresh take on pet food market trends
A graduate with a master’s degree in biosystems engineering from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, Haiyue, who is also known as Philo, has experience in the field of agriculture, having joined an agriculture startup as a project manager. As part of the food & beverage industry, pet food is one of the downstream industries of agriculture that has greatly inspired her career.
Since joining Symrise Pet Food in 2021 as APAC marketing executive, Philo has observed and researched this emerging market from her distinctive point of view as a newcomer to the sector. In her role, she has undertaken a market trends analysis of Pet Fair ASIA and Pet Fair SEA, market intelligence research for APAC regions, as well as internal and external marketing communications for Symrise Pet Food APAC.
As a pet lover and someone who was born in the year of dog, Philo is looking forward to having her own dog in future.
